Gnomeo and Juliet Review

The greatest love story ever told, starring...garden gnomes? In the upcoming "Gnomeo & Juliet," Shakespeare's revered tale gets a comical, off-the-wall makeover. Directed by Kelly Asbury ("Shrek 2") and showcasing both classic and original songs by Elton John. Starring Voice talent of James McAvoy(Wanted),Emily Blunt(Wolfman) ,Michael Caine( Dark Knight), Maggie Smith( Harry Potter series) Matt Lucas( Little Britain ) Jason Statham( Transporter trilogy ). There are also a couple of cameos. When a red gnome and blue gnomes have been fight 100 years, something has to happen. When a red gnome and blue gnome fall in love, their trouble begins with a lonely pink flamingo, Terrafirminator V.O and a big gnome war. The music was fantastic, because it settled the scenes of the movie. Like if they were sad Elton john would play a sad song like (Say so much)   but if there were happy they would a happy song like (crocodile rock). My favourite character was William Shakespeare a statue of William Shakespeare who Gnomeo meets. Sir Patrick Stewart (Star Trek) does the voice to William Shakespeare the 3D was shocking noting came out to you. See it in 2D it’s probably better. I give it 4 stars. Some bits of the movie were kind corny but if you like action, romance and Gnomes you should see this film. reviewed by Jonty
